August 11 A 12-hour water cut to several areas of Gampaha

 


Due to an essential maintenance work of the Electricity Board, Biyagama Water Treatment Plant will be closed from 9.00 am to 9.00 pm on Sunday 11th of August.The Water Supply and Drainage Board says that the water supply will be suspended for a period of 12 hours.Accordingly, water supply to Peliyagoda, Wattala, Ja Ala, Katunayake/Seeduwa, Municipal Council areas and Kelaniya, Wattala, Byagama, Mahara, Dompe, Ja-Ala, Katana, Minuwangoda, Divisional Council jurisdiction as well as a part of Gampaha Divisional Council jurisdiction. The board said that it will be suspended.The board also requests consumers to consume water sparingly.
