Dr. Galboda Gnanissara's cremation today with full state honors

 Hunupitiya Gangarama Temple Reverend Reverend S. Little Monk or Galboda Gnanissara Thera was also there. It is reported that he is Reverend Reverend. Galboda Gnanissara Thero was 81 years old when he passed away. In 2003, Rev. Galboda Gnanissara Thero was appointed as the Sanghanayaka of the Western Province of Sri Lanka by the Malwathu party.He was also the Sanghanayaka of Sri Lankan Buddhist temples in the United States, but later relinquished that position. The cremation ceremony of Dr. Galboda Gnanissara, the head of Gangarama Vihara, Hunupitiya, Colombo, who passed away, is scheduled to be held today (05) with full state honors. It is stated that the cremation ceremony is to be performed at the ground.It is reported that a large number of people have been coming to the Gangarama temple, Colombo since yesterday (03) to pay their respects to the remains of the prelates buried in the Gangarama temple.
