Harvesting of paddy starts in Yala season

 


These days, paddy harvesting has started in many parts of the island.The Paddy Marketing Board states that the government has focused on solving the problems faced by the farmers while selling paddy.Its chairman Buddhika Iddamalgoda mentioned that a special meeting will be held today between the officials of the Ministry of Agriculture to discuss the solutions.
